This year, as part of our ongoing effort to positively impact our community, KnowBe4 held a school supply drive to collect funds and supplies for local schools. In total $4,084.17 were donated to the three schools in the area with the lowest funding: Sandy Lane Elementary School, Oak Grove Middle School, and Clearwater High School.
Oak Grove Middle School said the donations came at just the right time, as district funding was changing and the school needed the funds to make up the difference.
The funds were used to purchased backpacks for less privileged students, as well as an assortment of school supplies including dry-erase boards and expo markers (for math classes), pens, pencils, sharpeners, notebook paper, and binders. These supplies will help alleviate the financial burden on students and their families while ensuring the students have all the resources they need to succeed.
