How KnowBe4 Celebrates Halloween Around The Globe

If you know KnowBe4, you know that our annual Halloween celebration is one of the biggest events of the year! Not only has Halloween been a major company culture event since the company’s founding, but it is also our CEO Stu’s favorite holiday! Following COVID-19 guidelines, each office celebrated in accordance with socially distanced protocols according to their country's national and regional laws and regulations. From our Clearwater, Florida headquarters where we host our annual Know-B-Ween, to our offices around the world, let’s check out how Knowsters celebrated Halloween 2021.

Celebrations In The United States

Our headquarters in Clearwater, Florida is home to our largest Halloween celebration. Our theme for this year’s Know-B-Ween outdoor drive-thru was a mix of characters from Hocus Pocus, Addam’s Family, and The Nightmare Before Christmas. The day began bright and early with professional hair and makeup for our People Operations teams. Next, it was time to get dressed in costumes and in position! Our drive-thru was open from 11-2 pm to employees during the day, and open from 6-8 pm to the public in the evening. This was our second annual contactless and socially distanced drive-thru, and it was a great success! Trick-or-treaters were transported into each movie as they drove through the event and were given bagged treats. The Fun & Shenanigans team did an excellent job spearheading this annual event and we are so grateful for their hard work and creative vision!

Celebrations In The United Kingdom

To kick off Halloween celebrations in the York, UK office, the office was decorated and employees were given a box of Halloween cupcakes! We also held a competition for Best Costume. After a day full of fun and with plenty of Halloween cupcakes to spare, we donated the remaining treats to a local school. In our Leicester office, some of our employees shared photos of the town getting in the holiday spirit with jack-o'-lanterns.

Celebrations In The Netherlands

While Halloween isn't a very popular holiday in the Netherlands, our Knowsters still love to participate in all of the fun! This year the office was decorated and employees received free lunch and were given some sweet treats! Whether in the office or working virtually, many employees dressed up. Celebrations In Germany

Our Berlin Knowsters had a blast dressing up! We had a Halloween costume contest for all Knowsters and everyone voted on their favorite. Check out these amazing costumes!

Celebrations In South Africa

In South Africa, Knowsters celebrated by dressing up in costume and enjoying sweet treats in the office. This office really took the spooky assignment to the next level. Check out the fake blood!

Celebrations In Brazil

Knowsters in Brazil celebrated Halloween with a costume contest. We also played Rock No Cemitério, a game where one person plays the guitar and the other players guess what song it is. Knowsters also tuned in virtually.

Celebrations In APAC

Celebrations throughout our APAC countries did not disappoint! Our team in Australia dressed up and had fun with a spooky trivia zoom! Employees also enjoyed Halloween treat boxes. In the Singapore office, the team received locally made hard candy. The team in Japan received some scrumptious Halloween cupcakes. Yum!
