Inside KnowBe4's Employee Resource Group Communities

At KnowBe4, we are committed to creating a diverse, equitable, and inclusive workplace where every employee feels respected, valued, and empowered to bring their authentic selves to work. To support this commitment, we have established six vibrant Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) that promote a sense of community, belonging, and allyship among our diverse workforce.

LGBTQIA+

The LGBTQIA+ group champions a welcoming and affirming environment for LGBTQIA+ employees and their allies. It fosters an inclusive culture where individuals can bring their whole selves to work, feel accepted, and find support and resources.

Marina says, "Being part of the leadership team of the LGBTQIA+ ERG has brought me so much closer to people from my community. It also allows us all to gain more knowledge, get involved, support LGBTQIA+ businesses and associations and so much more. It's an ideal place for everyone to share the love!" 

Women in Tech

This Women in Tech group aims to empower women in the technology industry by providing a supportive network for professional development, mentorship, and advocacy. It fosters an inclusive culture where women can thrive, lead, and inspire the next generation of female tech leaders.

Melissa says, "Being part of WIT has led me to many opportunities to meet women in various sectors of our organization, discussions on relevant topics, and mutual support to achieve goals. Through global coffee dates, community outreach, and various activities, WIT has helped me connect with colleagues across the company (and the world), making me feel valued both within the group and at KnowBe4 overall." 

Black Knowsters Network

The Black Knowsters Network ERG celebrates and amplifies the voices, experiences, and contributions of Black employees. It creates a safe space for open dialogue, cultural awareness, and professional growth while promoting equity and inclusion within the organization.

Doug says, "The BKN group has been an amazing experience where I have found fellowship and comradre with my black coworkers. It’s often easy to feel isolated, especially when not a lot of people look like you or understand your culture and background. BKN has allowed me to be authentically and unapologetically black."

VAMOS!

The VAMOS! ERG celebrates and promotes the rich diversity of Hispanic cultures and communities. It provides a platform for networking, professional development, and cultural awareness while fostering a sense of belonging and representation.

Emely says, "Being part of the VAMOS! Employee Resource Group has been a rewarding experience, allowing me to connect with colleagues who share cultural background and  also allies who support, relate to and appreciate the Latin culture. It has provided amazing opportunities for meaningful discussions, professional growth, and of course, delicious food."

Knowster Parents

The Knowsters Parents group supports employees who are parents or caregivers by offering resources, discussions, and a supportive community. It promotes work-life balance, family-friendly policies, and a culture that values and appreciates the unique challenges and joys of parenthood.

Josh says, "Our Parent Resource Group provides a great environment for employees who are parents, allowing them to share their experiences, challenges, and strategies for balancing work and family life.  The sense of community and camaraderie among working parents really helps solidify that parents can develop professionally while creating a healthy work-life balance for their family, and with all the crazy stuff our kids get up to on a day-to-day basis, there is always someone there to lift you up and say, 'I have been there before!'"

Military & Veterans

The Military and Veterans honors and supports the service and sacrifices of military veterans within the KnowBe4 community. It provides a network for veteran employees to connect, share experiences, and contribute their unique perspectives and skills to the organization.

Ahira says, "I love being a part of the KB4 Military group because it helps me connect with other individuals who understand my experiences.  Connecting with fellow veterans is truly special, and it adds to my joy as a Knowster."

These ERGs are more than just employee groups; they are vibrant communities that foster a sense of belonging, allyship, and mutual understanding. By creating spaces where individuals can connect, share their experiences, and learn from one another, we cultivate an inclusive and diverse workplace that celebrates our differences and leverages the unique perspectives and talents of our employees.
