KnowBe4's 2022 Holiday Celebrations Around The World

Throughout the month of December, Knowsters have been getting in the holiday spirit through virtual competitions, team parties, and more! From our Clearwater, Florida headquarters to our offices around the world, let’s check out all of the fun ways KnowBe4 celebrated the holidays!

Virtual Global Fun

Our amazing Fun & Shenanigans team held virtual competitions, including an ugly sweater contest, bingo, and a holiday bake-off!

Celebrations in the U.S.

Knowsters in the U.S. enjoyed our annual holiday party at Universal Studios in Orlando, Florida. Employees were also given three tickets for family members or friends, which made the night super special. Complimentary food and drinks were served at the restaurants at the theme park. Sierra, Snr. Team Expansion Specialist, says, "I had a blast at our annual holiday party. I love being able to relax, let loose, and have fun surrounded by my family and coworkers!"

Our Knowsters were also incredibly generous this holiday season and gave back to our local communities in a big way! KnowBe4 partnered with EPIC, Empath Partners in Care, a nonprofit integrated network of care supporting those challenged by chronic and advanced illness in the Tampa Bay region. Knowsters in the U.S. sponsored 123 children to help bring them holiday cheer! Ally, Curator of Antics and Hijinks on our Global Culture team, says, "This was our third year partnering with EPIC and Brighter Seasons to help spread holiday cheer to local children. I am always in awe at our Knowsters' giving hearts and their willingness to participate. EPIC is a great resource in our community, and we are so happy to be able to work alongside them all year round!" Knowsters also gave back to local families in need. Laura, CSS/HTML Front End Developer, says, "Collectively, our team donated over $500 worth of toys to a local non-profit that provides services to low-income families in our community. It always feels great to give back!"

Celebrations in Brazil

Knowsters in São Paulo enjoyed their end-of-the-year holiday party at a restaurant. The team enjoyed food, drinks, and music while catching up together. As many Knowsters work remotely, it was the first time that all of our São Paulo-based Knowsters got to meet in person. Clara Barros, Jr. QA Content Review Specialist, shared, “Our end-of-year get-together was filled with good food, great people, and fun pictures. A moment to cherish!” 

Celebrations in The UK

Knowsters in York had their annual holiday party earlier this month. The team had a three-course dinner with live music and a DJ! Leanne, Customer Success Manager, says, "Our seasonal party was amazing with lots of laughter, great company, and exceptional entertainment. My feet were all danced out by the end of the night.” There were also three live tribute acts for the main entertainment which included Cher, Robbie William, and Freddie Mercury! Robbie, Regional Account Manager, says, "The KnowBe4 holiday party was a great chance for everyone to let their hair down in the right way! It gave us a real chance to unwind and get to interact with our fellow Knowsters. The live acts were fantastic, and the food was even better. Thanks again to all that organized it!”

Knowsters in Leicester, also known as the "Twist & Shout" team, enjoyed their holiday party with team-building activities and dinner together. Richard, Director of Media Production, says, "The Twist & Shout holiday party is the social highlight of our year, and the annual quiz and games are always great for a laugh!" Dan, Production Assistant, added, "The team coming together for a holiday shindig is always something I look forward to. We had great food, lovely company, and a fabulous night!"

Celebrations in The Netherlands

Knowsters in Utrecht enjoyed a day at Efteling, a fantasy-themed amusement park in Kaatsheuvel, the Netherlands. Employees were given food and beverage credits and also an extra pass for a family member or friend to join the fun! Lienke, People & Culture Coordinator, says, "It was an absolutely amazing day with the team!"

Celebrations in Germany

Knowsters in Berlin celebrated their annual holiday party with indoor skydiving and laser tag! The team had a blast together and ended the day with a wonderful dinner. Christopher, Customer Success Manager, says, "The entire day was absolutely a blast. The coordination and organization of all of the three parts, starting from indoor skydiving, over to underground laser tag, up to our final part, and the dinner on top of the Berlin skyline couldn't have been any better." Tayfun, Regional Account Manager, also added, "This was the best holiday party I ever had. I will remember this for a long time for sure.” 

Celebrations in United Arab Emirates

Knowsters in Dubai celebrated the holiday with a desert safari, experiencing the Bedouin culture with activities including sand boarding, dune bashing, sunset viewing, a fire show, and a competitive general knowledge quiz! Many Knowsters brought their families to enjoy the experience too! Sujatha, Channel Account Manager, says, “Thank you to our incredible team for arranging the fun and memorable outing we had at the desert safari along with family members. The outing was arranged flawlessly!"

Celebrations in South Africa

Knowsters in Cape Town celebrated together at their annual end-of-the-year party! They enjoyed drinks, music, and food outdoors by the beach. Everyone was also given holiday packages with special treats. Friedrich, Director of Sales, says, "This was the best holiday party I have ever been to! We had great food, a breathtaking venue, and great company."

Celebrations in Australia

Knowsters in Melbourne went to a restaurant located on Melbourne's beautiful Yarra River and enjoyed a three-course meal together. Jessi, International Employee Onboarding Specialist, says, "We had a delicious meal and spent the night celebrating! As the ANZ office is quite small, it's rare to have the entire team out as a whole, so it was fantastic being able to catch up with everyone, all dressed in our finest and having fun together. The best parts of the night were definitely the dessert, the beautiful summer evening right near the water, and celebrating all of our successes as a team!”

Celebrations in Singapore

Knowsters in Singapore enjoyed a murder mystery dinner for their holiday party. Annie, Regional Account Manager, says, “A big shout out to Giselle for organizing such an incredible holiday party! The event was well organized and executed. The murder mystery party was fun and engaging, and our evening was filled with laughter, competitiveness, and harmony. Thank you KnowBe4!” Marvin, APAC Performance Coach, added, "My favorite part of our holiday party is when I discovered I was the murderer from the start! I had to play it cool and not give it away to the rest of the team. Overall, it was fun to get to know everyone! It was enjoyable and memorable!" 

Celebrations in Japan

Knowsters in Tokyo celebrated with a yacht cruise and dinner together. Kosuke, Regional Account Manager, says, “I was very impressed by the beautiful view of Tokyo Bay from the cruise!"
