Tell me about your career journey so far at KnowBe4. What do you do in your role as an SMB sales rep?

As an SMB rep, I consult organizations on security best practices. I listen to the current and past security concerns that the organizations are experiencing or have previously experienced and make recommendations based on those findings. I also assist IT professionals in communicating the ROI of our services to secure leadership buy-in.

I originally joined KnowBe4 as an entry-level sales professional with zero cybersecurity or selling experience. Fast forward to today, just two short years later, I am a top-producing Regional Account Manager. As a Regional Account Manager, my role includes prospecting new accounts, conducting platform demonstrations, negotiating contract details, and closing new business for KnowBe4.

What have been the keys to your success while working in a fast-paced sales role?

The success that I’ve had at KnowBe4 is not my own. KnowBe4 has been in business for 12 years and is a data-driven organization. KnowBe4 gives its employees all the tools they need to succeed.

The keys to my success at KnowBe4 have been staying consistent with successful habits, constantly learning selling techniques and industry knowledge, and utilizing my resources such as fellow sales reps, sales performance coaches, and senior leadership.

How do you feel supported? What makes working at KnowBe4 unique?

Everywhere I turn at KnowBe4, there are great people that are patient and compassionate. Everyone genuinely wants you to succeed. What do you like to do in your free time outside of work?

When I’m not at work, you can find me spending quality time with my family, curled up with a book, or snuggling with my dog Luna. I wouldn't be where I am today without my loving husband and children.
