KnowBe4's Singapore office is the largest office in our APAC region. Our office culture encourages everyone to be very transparent with each other and openly communicate about wants, needs, issues, and anything else. From our office in Singapore, we meet and train with employees from all over the world! Our team is also responsible for finding new customers and maintaining relationships with current customers throughout the entire Southeast region of Asia. In today's blog, we meet some of our Knowsters in our Singapore office! 

Meet Alvin, Sales Engineer

What does your career journey at KnowBe4 look like so far?

I joined KnowBe4 in 2021, and it has been an exciting and rewarding journey so far. In my current role, I am part of the Sales Engineering team in APAC that focuses on executing POC trials with potential customers and providing solutions for their needs. I engage with potential customers from different countries in this region and provide them with the utmost satisfaction and customer service. 

How do you feel supported at KnowBe4?

I am part of a fantastic team that is led by a great manager. My entire team is super competent and well-organized. We recently had a team-building session together, and it was so much fun! I am grateful for our healthy work-life balance.

What makes KnowBe4 unique?

The onboarding process at KnowBe4 is unique and specifically tailored for each of the roles. This really helps new team members adapt to the KnowBe4 culture. The documented process and interactive training materials keep everyone focused on the same growth goal, which helps us constantly learn and improve. As our CEO says, we work hard and have fun while we do it!

What advice would you give someone who is interested in applying for a position?

What advice would you give someone who is interested in applying for a position?

I began my career journey at KnowBe4 as a Channel Account Manager before landing my role as Director of Sales. KnowBe4's culture really resonates with my personal mantras. This organization has allowed me to grow and evolve as a sales rep and leader. I lead a team of 18 people, and effective communication is key. "Walking the walk" gives my team the confidence that their leader is grounded and with them through every step of the way!

How do you feel supported?

Whenever there is a problem that needs to be addressed or fixed, our leadership will efficiently assist right away.

I am a Channel Account Manager in APAC. It has been a fun and challenging journey thus far. I have never been in any job that gives me so much satisfaction as KnowBe4 does every day!

As a Customer Success Manager (Enterprise), I efficiently onboard and support our new customers.
