Unveiling Utrecht, Netherlands' New Workspace

We are excited to announce a significant milestone in KnowBe4's global journey - the opening of our new office in the Netherlands. This strategic move is a testament to our commitment to enhancing cybersecurity awareness and education across Europe. Our office in the Netherlands is KnowBe4’s largest European office and our lead office for all international activities throughout Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA). Our office is also the training center for our seven global offices in EMEA and houses one of KnowBe4’s shared service centers, providing financial, legal, and other support to all our other offices in this region.

EMEA Business Hub

Situated in a thriving business district, our Netherlands office serves as a central hub for our team of experts, united by a shared mission to empower organizations and individuals in the fight against cyber threats. This expansion allows us to strengthen our presence in Europe, providing tailored solutions to businesses in the region. Jelle, one of our Knowsters, says, "Utrecht is and will continue to be an excellent base for establishing further collaborations in a region where many efforts are being made to promote cybersecurity. Cybernetwork Utrecht is a good example of this." 

Commemorating Our New Space

Stu, our CEO, made a special trip for the Netherlands office opening celebration, offering a distinctive opportunity for our worldwide team to connect with him in the fresh workspace personally. As a Dutch native, this was a special moment for Stu to return home to see his new office space! The gathering was a lively mix of festivities and camaraderie, uniting colleagues from across the globe. Everyone played games together, ate some fantastic food, and enjoyed the first of many parties in the new office space! 

It's All in the Details

You'll quickly notice a distinctive touch encapsulating our mission as you enter our space. Our tagline, thoughtfully displayed on the walls, reads, "A fun and welcoming workplace for you. A more secure world for everyone." It's not just decorative; it serves as a clear statement of our purpose.

With state-of-the-art facilities and an inviting atmosphere, our new office is a place where our dedicated team can come together, share ideas, and work on innovative projects. The library is a stunning collaborative space filled with unlimited snacks! We encourage all Knowsters to spend at least 5 hours per week on professional development, making the library a perfect spot to go for weekly learning.

The new breakroom is definitely a crowd-pleaser. Equipped with many booths and tables to sit with colleagues, the breakroom is now a central space where everyone can have their coffee and lunch breaks together. We are thrilled to see everyone embracing the new office space, fostering increased collaboration and strengthening team bonds. We can't wait to see how the space is used to celebrate the company milestones, holidays, and other fun KnowBe4 events!

The green room is one of the most unique parts of the new office space! The 11th-floor garden area has a charming café section, complemented by an inviting outdoor space where you can savor your meal while enjoying the fresh air. Knowsters have enjoyed taking breaks in this area and even had a few meetings in the serene space.

Sustainable Location

In addition to the green room, there is also a large park situated in the middle of the building, so the Central Park building has definitely earned its name! The Central Park office building, strategically situated adjacent to Utrecht Central Station, not only ensures convenient accessibility for both employees and clients relying on public transportation but also aligns with our commitment to sustainability. This eco-conscious choice of office location significantly contributes to reducing our carbon footprint, exemplifying our dedication to environmentally responsible practices.
