Continuing Education Credits

As part of our webinars and events, KnowBe4 is pleased to offer a certificate of attendance to assist attendees in receiving continued education credits (“CPEs”) for sessions they attend, since many sessions are educational in nature within the cybersecurity and privacy fields.

For KB4-CON events, the certificate will include the name and date(s) of the event. It is up to each attendee to accurately report the sessions they attended and the credit hours they are submitting to their professional certification organization(s). KnowBe4 is not responsible for reporting details on what sessions individuals attended, for how long, or for any direct communications with professional certification organizations.

For KnowBe4 webinars, attendees must participate in the live webinar/sessions to qualify for KnowBe4 CPE credits; credits are not available for viewing recorded sessions. Most professional certification organizations such as (ISC)2, SANS Institute, and ISACA accept one (1) credit for a one (1) hour session/webinar. Quarterly hour increments may also be allowed. It is the responsibility of each attendee to know the relevant professional certification organization’s rules and regulations covering CPE credits for their individual certifications, such as: CISSP, CSSLP, CCSP, CAP, HCISPP, SSCP, CISSP-ISSAP, ISSEP, ISSMP, PMP, and IAPP. KnowBe4 recommends attendees retain their individual certificates as additional documentation in the event of an audit from the professional certifying organization.

KnowBe4 product-specific sessions or webinars will typically not qualify for CPE credits.

Frequently Asked Questions

When will I receive my certificate?

For KB4-CON events, you’ll receive your certificate via email one to three days after the event. If you can’t find it in your inbox, check your spam, sometimes it ends up there. If you haven’t received it within five business days after the event you attended, please reach out to kb4-con@knowbe4.com.

For webinars, attendees will receive their certificate within a week of the webinar. For webinars, please reach out to webinars@knowbe4.com with the details of the webinar you join if you have not received your certificate a week after the webinar.

What sessions count for CPE Credits?

Most of our sessions and webinars that are 1 hour long or more qualify for CPE credits since many are educational in nature within the cybersecurity and privacy fields. However, KnowBe4 product-specific sessions will typically not qualify for CPE credits. It is the responsibility of each attendee to know the relevant professional certification organization’s rules and regulations covering CPE credits for their certifications.

If I watch an event on demand after the event, how can I receive my certificate?

For KB4-CON events, please reach out to kb4-con@knowbe4.com with the details of the event you watched.

For KnowBe4 webinars, attendees must participate in the live webinar/sessions to qualify for KnowBe4 CPE credits; credits are not available for viewing recorded sessions.

How much does it cost to get the certificate?

It depends on the event or webinar you attend. There is an attendance fee for all KB4-CON events, while our webinars are free. Check the website for more information on the cost of the event or webinar you are interested in.
