Experienced C-level executive to lead KnowBe4’s sales and channel efforts
KnowBe4, the provider of the world’s largest security awareness training and simulated phishing platform, today announced it has hired Jan van Vliet as the new vice president for a portion of the European region (focusing on France, Italy, Spain, Sweden and The Netherlands), where he will be responsible for sales management efforts and coordination of KnowBe4’s partner activities.
Throughout the past 25 years, Van Vliet has held several key sales leadership positions at various startups, scale ups and large vendors, all in the IT security vendor space. The last position Van Vliet held was VP & GM EMEA at Digital Guardian. Prior to that, he held several VP sales positions at McAfee / Intel Security. Van Vliet is highly valued for his ability to attract and retain strong sales talent throughout the years. He was responsible for double-digit growth of new business throughout all his positions. Van Vliet holds a Bachelor and Master of Science degree in Computer Science from the Delft University of Technology in the Netherlands.
