KnowBe4 recognised for fostering an inclusive and equitable workplace for women
KnowBe4, the provider of the world’s largest security awareness training and simulated phishing platform, today announced that it has been named as one of UK’s Best Workplaces for Women by Great Place to Work UK, the global authority on workplace culture. This achievement highlights KnowBe4’s commitment to fostering an environment that is inclusive and equitable for all.
Ranking 32nd out of 330 organisations on the 2024 UK’s Best Workplace for Women List in the medium-sized category, KnowBe4 has been recognised as being committed to ensuring a reasonable balance of men and women across the organisation, removing barriers to women’s career advancement, and creating workplaces where all employees, regardless of gender, can flourish.
"At KnowBe4, we are committed to creating an inclusive and empowering environment where women can thrive," says Ani Banerjee, chief human resources officer at KnowBe4. "We've implemented policies such as flexible work arrangements and leadership development initiatives specifically designed to support women's career growth. Our commitment to pay equity, parental leave, and promoting work-life balance has helped us build a diverse and talented workforce. This recognition from Great Place to Work UK validates our ongoing efforts to create a workplace where all employees, regardless of gender, can reach their full potential."
The globally recognised Best Workplace survey employs a rigorous methodology to evaluate workplace cultures and practices. Eighty five percent of the ranking is based on women's workplace experiences compared to men's, considering diverse identities and organisational factors. It assesses innovation, company values, and leadership effectiveness. The remaining 15% is based on how well women are represented across all levels of the organisation, including management.
“Workplaces are only great if they’re great for all employees”, says Benedict Gautrey, managing director of Great Place To Work UK. “For seven years, the UK’s Best Workplaces for Women List has been paving the way by tackling discrimination, removing barriers to women’s advancement in their careers, and challenging taboos around subjects like menopause, and endometriosis. Importantly, each of the companies on the list have been commended by their own female employees through their anonymous feedback that told us their workplace has gone above and beyond to ensure that women employees are treated fairly in terms of recognition, training, and promotion opportunities.”
