KnowBe4 ranks number 42 and is recognized for strong company culture and best-in-class customer service
KnowBe4, the provider of the world’s largest security awareness training and simulated phishing platform, today announced it has earned the number 42 spot for the Tampa Bay Business Journal’s Fast 50 Awards.
The Fast 50 recognizes the Tampa Bay area’s fastest-growing private companies. Awards are based on revenue growth over the past three years.
“KnowBe4 is honored to be recognized as one of the fastest growing organizations in the Tampa Bay area,” said Stu Sjouwerman, CEO, KnowBe4. “We attribute our growth to the work we do educating organizations around the world through new-school security awareness training, on the most effective ways to combat social engineering – enabling end users to make smarter security decisions every day. An educated workforce is the key to building a human firewall and fostering a strong security culture within an organization. We are thankful for this recognition and are proud to be headquartered in the Tampa Bay area, where we have the opportunity to support this amazing community.”
Recently, KnowBe4 published its 2023 Phishing By Industry Benchmarking Report which measured an organization’s Phish-proneTM Percentage (PPP), indicating how many of their employees are likely to fall for phishing or a social engineering scam. The report revealed that according to the baseline testing conducted, without security training, across all industries, 33.1% of employees are likely to click on a suspicious link or comply with a fraudulent request. After 90 days of completing monthly or more frequent security training, the average PPP decreased to 18.5% and after twelve months of security training and simulated phishing security tests, the average PPP dropped to 5.4% – indicating the effectiveness of new-school security awareness training.
