KnowBe4 to host talk on new rapidly evolving data protection concerns and how it will impact your organization
KnowBe4, the provider of the world’s largest security awareness training and simulated phishing platform, is hosting a webinar on the General Data Protection Law, or LGPD. The webinar will feature an overview of the most recent updates and impact this law will have on Brazilian organizations and what they need to do to prepare. It is open to all organizations.
The webinar will be held on Tuesday (7/28) at 11 a.m. (UTC -3) with Brazilian speaker Lecio De Paula, KnowBe4's director of data privacy. In 2019, Lecio De Paula came to Brazil for the Gartner show and his lecture on LGPD was one of the most well received, garnering very positive feedback from attendees. With this webinar, KnowBe4 will bring an up to date and virtual version of that lecture, where De Paula will cover the legislation that will change the way Brazilians deal with data protection.

LGPD requires that all organizations train their employees to improve security awareness. Creating a human firewall within organizations is also advancing the efficiency of data security policies. Although the law has been postponed until next year, all organizations need to be compliant as soon as possible.
